About
My name is Ella Rodger
I have always felt at my best in the company of animals, but it was volunteering at a rescue shelter in Thailand that solidified my decision to pursue it as a career. Caring for rescued dogs showed me the power of patient and compassionate handling.
Soon after, seeing my own dog struggle in a kennel highlighted how stressful traditional boarding can be. I realised many pets thrive with personalised, in-home care, which inspired me to create Diggin Dawgz.
After completing a Certificate III in Animal Care Services, I launched Diggin Dawgz with a clear mission: to provide reliable, compassionate, and professional care that ensures pets feel safe and owners have peace of mind while they are away.

Ella did an outstanding job walking my 2 huskies. When one experienced a vomiting incident, she showed great initiative by taking a photo and promptly bringing him back to ensure he was okay before continuing the walk.
